Designed for students who have successfully passed Sea Horses or Sea Turtles, Sea Otters introduces the critical concept of floating, as well as rythmic submersion and positive air exchange. Students will also learn to safely jump into the water, transition to and float on their back. Graduates of Sea Otters will be able to do 5 slow controlled bobs with rythmic breathing, and will be able to float independently float on their stomachs and backs for 5 seconds. Graduates of Sea Otters advance to Sea Stars.
