HOOP IT UP! Washington City Recreation continues to provide a great basketball experience in a great environment. The Youth Basketball Program is designed for boys grades 2nd-12th and girls grades 2nd-8th. Participants MUST be registered in their current grade (no playing up or down grades) All registered participants grades 2nd-5th are placed on a team based on grade and geographic area. Team selection for participants grades 6th-9th boys and grades 6th-8th girls are completed by volunteer coaches under the direction of the Recreation Manager. Team registration is for Boys 10th-12th grade. Boys and girls compete separately, and all youth grades 2nd-9th are required to wear the prescribed Washington City Recreation reversible jersey. Teams registered for 10th-12th grade are required to provide their own same-color jerseys. Games will begin on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Registration deadline is October 28, 2024. Cost for registration is $35 for residents, $42 for non-residents, and $300 per team for team registration. Games will be played at the Washington City Community Center, 350 N.
